I am thoroughly happy with my purchase, within 3 days of using them the pain in my knees had gone. When I get ready for bed my left knee is twice the size of my right knee and yet I don't feel even a twinge from it.

I’ve had problems with a painful ankle since Christmas 2006. This pain at times progressed to my knee and the net result of both was a substantial limp and a limit to my walking ability.

By February 2007, with no improvement, I visited my GP who advised patience and painkillers. Allowing for the temporary respite due to painkillers nothing changed and with a holiday in Madeira looming I was quite concerned.

As a last resort, almost, I decided with some scepticism to try your Copper Heelers. After about 4 days I noticed a slight improvement but was still taking painkillers. I stopped the medication and the improvement in mobility continued, prompting my order for a second pair.

By the time we went on holiday in early May my mobility was back to normal. Madeira is renowned for steep walks and I have dealt with these, hundreds of steps and cobbles without any problem.

Whenever I drove my bike to Hereford I always got cramp and my legs would be numb when I got there.

There is no doubt that the Original Copper Heelers have reduced the arthritic pain in my spine and left knee.

Age 73, reasonable health up to 7 years ago when, out of the blue, I was afflicted with Polymyalgia Rheumatica which lasted some two and a half years, medication given was steroids.

I have suffered with psoriatic arthritis for two years. Initially I was in pain throughout my entire body to the extent that I couldn’t walk; get in the bath or even go to the toilet unaided. It was horrendous. I have three children, the youngest being two years old now, and not being able to pick him up or cuddle him was heartbreaking.

The pain affected me mostly in the spring but we have our own garden design business so I couldn’t take time off. This meant that my husband had to help look after me instead of being able to work at our busiest time of year. This had a knock-on effect of increasing financial stress – in turn the stress provokes the inflammation!

I went to my doctor, who prescribed a chemo-therapy drug which I didn’t want to take due to its recent appearance on the market place and possible side-effects, as well as the need to have weekly blood tests. Instead I took opium-based pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs. Although these helped to a certain degree, I was still in a lot of pain for about six months.

Having refused the medication suggested by the rheumatologists and doctors, it was up to me to find a solution that I could live with. I read a lot about various diets and eventually followed a combination of the Kousmine and Seignalet diets a strict diet which eliminated wheat, dairy, alcohol and caffeine. I had to supplement my diet quite heavily to ensure I was not missing out any essential food elements at this point with omega 3, probiotics and a combination of colza, olive and nut oils. I was still taking the ani-inflammatories, but was able to lower the strength. I also replaced the opium based pain killers with paracetamol, and after 4 months I started to feel better.

I was worried though, as I was still taking anti-inflammatories and paracetamol on a daily basis, as the pain was still significant in my fingers, knees and feet.

I then heard about a copper insole called the Original Copper Heeler through my mother-in-law (who also uses them) and decided to give it a try.

I have been using the Original Copper Heeler for 2 months now and wear them every day. They are so comfortable that I forget they are there. I have found great benefits from using the copper heelers for several reasons, among them the fact that after only a few weeks of use I definitely felt less pain in my joints.
Also, they are discreet and you can forget you are wearing them. In late 2006 my GP diagnosed me as having an arthritic hip which was giving me difficult leg pains. Owing to my age – 89 years and my previous medical history he advised me not to have a hip replacement but to control the situation with pain killers – paracetamol tablets.

I just had to write to let you know how wonderful your Original Copper Heeler insoles are.

I have been playing football on a regular basis for nearly forty years. A couple of months ago I noticed that after playing I was experiencing considerable pains in the joints of my right knee and each time I played the pain got worse and took longer and longer to ease off. I was resigned to having to finally stop playing football.

When someone suggested I purchase a pair of your copper heelers I must admit I was a bit sceptical that they would have any effect but I thought I would give them a try anyhow. However to my amazement within a few hours of wearing the insoles there was an immediate reduction in my knee joint pain. I thought that I must be imagining this but what convinced me that they worked was that when I then wore a pair of shoes that didn’t have the insoles in them the pain returned. I had a right knee replacement operation in December 2008, and I thought my problems were over. However, pain started in my left knee in August 2009, and walking became difficult. I started medication to try and ease the pain, but it didn’t really seem to help.
Since November 2009 I’ve been using "The Original Copper Heeler" and the pain in my left knee has reduced significantly, and some days I don’t feel it at all. They are so comfortable that I’m not aware of them in my shoes. Obviously, this situation has made me very satisfied and happy with them.

Having worked in rheumatology research for several years, and suffering from joint pain myself, I have a keen interest in the ways in which copper is said to have a beneficial effect on pain due to inflammatory joint problems like rheumatoid arthritis. According to alternative-medicine-and-health.com, copper is an effective anti-inflammatory agent that may be more potent than aspirin. It is said to reduce morning stiffness and help joint mobility, sometimes reducing the need for other drugs.
I have been wearing a copper bracelet for my own joint pain since early 1997 and while it seemed to provide some relief from joint pain, I found that it was somewhat inconvenient to wear continually for a variety of reasons. As a result I was very interested in trying your Copper Heeler insoles, and I have been very pleased with the results so far.

As a teacher of the Alexander Technique I don’t usually favour gadgets. However, I was persuaded to try the Copper Heeler as arthritis was developing in the right knee.

I am a convert, and have now bought many pairs as I want to wear them all the time.

I have only worn the "Copper Heelers" for a few weeks, but appear to be feeling relief, particularly in the hip region.

I have osteoarthritis in both my hands and my feet. My right foot began to bother me about two years ago and I was beginning to limp even when walking a short distance. As you can appreciate I found this very distressing as I had always been a keen walker and also enjoyed exercising. After having my hands and feet x-rayed which showed degeneration particularly in my right foot my GP referred me to a Podiatrist who made me special insoles for my shoes and also gave me special exercises to do.
